Field Service Supervisor (A/C)

This is a senior role and key position as Field Service Supervisor within the Service Department having direct responsibility of the field technicians within the specific trade. The role is responsible for all field related services and supervision of tradesmen to carry out the required work for our clients from start to finish. This includes inspections, liaising with service administration providing technical support, estimating, sourcing parts, coordination and scheduling work for tradesmen. In addition, the role requires coordinating sales strategies evaluation of skill set required for contracts, supervision of purchase orders, performing quality control ensuring paramount customer service and efficiency within designated budget and responsible for the training of junior tradesmen.

The individual must be a technically qualified journeyman or master level tradesman with qualification from a certified and recognized educational institution within the industry. A minimum of 8 to 10 years’ supervisory experience is required in the specified field. As the position is a supervisory one, it is imperative the individual has extensive experience supervising teams as well as proven ability to manage work schedules, oversee quality control, provide training and be in a senior client facing role. This is a service oriented position and the individual must demonstrate an extremely high level of practical problem solving skills, be personable and capable of working on their own initiative. The person should also be prepared to work unsocial hours and share in our on-call schedule. Excellent communication skills are necessary and proficiency in the use of MS Windows Office products specifically Outlook, Explorer, Word and Excel.
